HIS EYES
When I look into his eyes,
I see the craziest blue,
Envied by the skies,
When he turns away from me,
You see the deepest green,
Deeper than any sea,
When he’s miles away,
For too long a day,
I imagine the color I see,
Would be gray,
His eyes I long for,
Looking at me,
Those eyes I wish were,
Blue as the skies,
But while those eyes are,
So far away,
Think of me,
Don’t let them stay gray.
