This week so cool because I was able to hang with my dear friend, Bam, who happened to be in town for a week!
He was in town with Novac, on his book tour for his recently launched book, DREAMSELLER. I urge each and everyone of you to please read this book! There is nothing more inspiring than a true story about being on top of the world, then losing everything to drugs, but then being able to go against the odds, and overcome those times… As much as some of the moments described in the book made my stomach turn at times, it was one of those books I just couldn’t put down once I started reading it.. I truly do believe in it, and hope you guys dig it too!
Anyway, aside from hangin’ out, and doing a new tattoo on both Bam and Novac, as well as having a rad painting session at the hotel (with the help of Novac posing naked) – we also celebrated the launch for the limited edition series of skateboards I designed for Bam at one of my fave skate shops in Los Angeles, Active. I had such a blast – and was able to meet so many cool fans!
So, to those of you who made it, waited in line, and supported us, I just wanted to take the time and thank you! I was having a pretty rough day, and all the positive energy really helped turn that around for me…
