Some of you may know I’ve been working on writing my first book for the past year, and I finally got a copy of the final product!
It’s so crazy to look through it, and realize that all the hard work has finally become a reality!
The book is called, High Voltage Tattoo, and is a window into the world of tattooing through my eyes.
I had over a hundred of my clients photographed, and have written personal stories behind each of the tattoos, as well as the Do’s and Don’ts everyone should know about when getting tattooed, Famous Tattoo Myths, an autobiographical section telling you how I got where I am today, How to pick your artist, How to pick your artwork, My Tattooing Playlists, and so much more.
In the book, you will also see the tattoos I have done on the likes of Bam Margera, Kerry King of Slayer, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Anthrax, Alkaline Trio, Eagles of Death Metal, Margaret Cho, Jeffree Star, Jamie Thomas, Steel Panther, Fireball Ministry, Nikki Sixx, as well as some of my never before seen final tattoos on my all time fave clients!
I am so beyond excited to show you guys the book, because it was by far the most emotional roller coaster of a project that I put my time, energy, blood, sweat and tears into.

an INTERIOR DESIGNER!
That will NEVER happen – but I must admit one of my all time fave things to do is to redecorate. I’d like to think I have a pretty good eye for detail and can come up with some pretty neat ideas for thematic rooms.
On this week’s new episode of LA Ink – while Nikki is on the road with Motley, he hands over the keys to Funny Farm – his photography studio – after seeing my shop and my office, he was inspired to have me redecorate the 3 rooms there…
I must admit, when we first started dating, he took me over to Funny Farm, and gave me a tour of the place – and honestly, it looked like a total bachelor pad. A few couches, nothing on the white walls, and a fridge… BUT I did see a lotta potential – and with Hannah’s help, came up with some pretty crazy stuff! Think antique bordello hooker lounge meets Dr. Kevorkian medical room and taxidermy-heaven, Bellalugosi’s creepy library Den!!!
All this, within the few weeks Nikki was gone!
